HOW TO DRAW COOL CARS
Drawing cars is a very popular
hobby among a lot of people in the US. There are several
reasons why you may like to learn how to draw cars, say for
example you may want to present your car fanatic brother a self
made car portrait or your work may demand you to learn drawing
cars. In any case, you can learn how to draw cars online at
anytime irrespective of your age and drawing skills.
If you are just a beginner and
are wondering how to start then let me tell you, the first step
to learn drawing cars calls for a basic understanding of
geometric figures.
You may be wondering how circles,
triangles and the like can help you sketch or draw complicated
car models. But these shapes are the basics of all drawings. So
if you can draw a circle, you know you have taken the first
step. Sounds easy?
Okay now, let’s see what car we
can draw first. How about a sedan? I’m sure you have an idea of
what a sedan looks like. It is a five-seater four-door
passenger car and has a nice spacious trunk. It’s usually
considered to be a family car because of its shape and size.
The reason why we opted to draw this car is because it is the
easiest to draw and will give you a good start.
In order to learn drawing such
cars you need to start with a rectangle. So let’s
start,
Step 1: Draw a long simple
rectangle. The length of the rectangle is the length of the car
you will be drawing.
Step 2: now what you need to do
is, draw another rectangle on the first one. But make sure the
second one is smaller than the first and is not right in the
middle, as you want to make the hood of your car longer than
its trunk.
Step 3: the third step would be
joining the shapes by a curved line over the rectangles, which
will be your guide for the rest of the drawing.
This line will help you shape
your drawing into different models and styles of car. An older
car will be more box-shaped while a newer car will have a more
sleek look to it.
Step 4: the next step will be
drawing a light thin line at the bottom that will help you draw
the tires of your car.
Step 5: this is the second last
step. Now it’s time to add the features of the car on your
drawing, like the, windows, the rear windshield, the front
windshield, the headlights, the bumpers etc. next draw the
outlines of the doors and door handles then draw the wheels to
the tires.
Step 6: so how does it look now?
Well, we have reached the last step of our drawing. Now it’s
time to shade your car with appropriate colors.
And finally, your car is ready,
wasn’t it easy?
Every car fanatic comes up with
interesting car designs, many like to sketch their imagination
on a sheet of paper while others keep them in their heads. But
I suggest every time you come up with some car design sit with
a paper and pencil and sketch it out. Once you start doing this
you will be surprised to see an interesting collection of car
designs building up in your sketchbook.
